Right! The fluid will move into the cells, making them swell.

When this happens, the person develops 'fingerprinting edema.' Pressing your finger against a bony place on the body will leave a fingerprint in the person's skin, because the fluid is inside the cells and cannot readily flow back to fill in the dents.
